What is ‘Citizens for Bruce C’?

Citizens for Bruce C is a locally driven campaign to advance community support for the Bruce C Project.

The campaign is led by a network of local residents who believe firmly that the Bruce C Project represents a generational opportunity for the region of Bruce, Grey, and Huron counties – the territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.

Why Bruce C?

Citizens for Bruce C fundamentally believe that the Bruce C Project represents the strongest case for new nuclear development in Ontario based on the following key factors for success:

Strong Community Support

Polling conducted by Bruce Power in Fall 2025 found that more than 90% of residents across Bruce, Grey and Huron counties believe that the Bruce C Project will be good for the community.

Existing site with proven track record

The Bruce Power site presents a strategic advantage with a long history of environmental monitoring and assessment, operational excellence, and proven success through refurbishment projects.

Skilled nuclear workforce and supply chain

The Bruce Power site and the region benefit from an existing workforce and local support chain that support ongoing operations and refurbishments at the Bruce Power site.
